Thought id take a pic of the commodore hat to show how it had to be braced inside to stop it craking all the time from combination of resonance and boost.

And another if anyone is intrested of a 4agze stock throttlebody along side the twin setup on the said hat.

Great news buddy, I'm glad to hear the fix turned out a relatively easy one. I wonder if it is the same problem the 3T was having? Bah old news. Take it to the track and enjoy.

Bearing shops normally do that.. Try Kev at CBC Bearings Artarmon Sydney. I know he does em.

i made them on a lathe out of 16mm alloy bar.

30psi 4agte : Have you considered grabbing a couple of say...5mm sheets of rubber, cutting to shape to suit the lower mounting brackets (top and bottom) so the brackets effectively have a 5mm cushion either side of them around the bolts. Use studs and nylon-ringed bolts and make the holes a couple of sizes too big.

I dunno if it'll help, but it might provide a small amount of vibration insulation. to prevent the resonance getting too bad.

I'm no materials expert, but I know there's as much strength in flexibility as there is in rigidity.

YEP i have considered it but my vibration was that bad that it would still allow tooooooo much movement and cause probs.

i'm no expert either, but strength usually comes at the cost of rigidity.... highly flexible things are not strong.... as they are easy to bend
