Default AE112 Corolla Sportivo, 140KW ATW possible?

I was browsing CarSales.com.au and i came across this: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!cs_content.private_vehicle?vehicle_id=3113909

I am wondering if the 141KW @ the wheels is possible from a 7AFE Turbo? or would internals need to be done... 141KW ATW would equate to something like 160-170kw at the motor. The reason I ask is when i was looking into turboign my 7AFE it wasn't going to produce anthing like that...

If its not that hard to get that sort of power from the 7AFE i migh consider going for another corolla, probably an AE112 this time (instead of my AE102)... Or maybe a ZZE122 with a 1ZZFE if they can get decent power? I mean you are starting with 100Kw instead of 86kw... so...

Anyone know is the 1ZZFEs are stronger than the 7AFE?

with a lot of money anything is possible...

kingmick often speaks of a 7A-GE so maybe it's one of his? hehehe

1ZZ-FEs are a different motor to the 7A-FE, so when u mean stronger what exactly are you looking at? stronger pistons? can take on more boost? hmm.. end of the day, a factory NA motor can only take on so much so i'd suggest be satisfied with whatever the limit of the motor is.. or rebuild it to take on as much as u want ..

Yes its possible and no it isnt anything to do with me! the only ones i have anything to do with are atmo race motors and they do around that at the wheels atmo! So yes it is very possible, but dosnt mean it will last long if its given a caining.

    Copied from the ad:

Car was bought brand new, always serviced & garaged. lady owner. Dyno tuned 141KW @ wheels

hmmmm something not quite right there. It also looks stock as a rock under the hood other than the GFB sticker that inspires fear....the toyota 7A computer is not re-mappable, and I doubt its got an aftermarket computer in it. I think in this specific case the claims are probably bs.

As kingmick says 141KW at the wheels from a 7A is feasible, but probably not on the stock rods - they are very weak and have trouble holding up on high revving NA motors let alone under boost.

Me reckons someone who isn't a Toyota enthusiast doesn't know the difference between an AE112 Sportivo Turbo and a ZZE123 Sportivo, and doesn't know the difference between power at the fly and at the wheels. They probably just looked up the power for a Sportivo, got the result for a ZZE123, and then tried to sound cool and tech-y by saying "it was dyno-tuned" etc etc.

In short, stay away, 'cause they don't know shit

if you can fit a snail in the small gap between the engine and the firewall without the steering column being in the way... sure...
you can have the turbo remote mounted but then you get more lag.

Hell, 300kw ATW is possible. With a lifespan of a few minutes, but if you pour enough boost in you can make the power
