The oil pressure sender is a good place to T into and get a feed to the turbo..
I'm thinking though for return, you really are going to need to tap into the sump.
Hey,

Yes, most likely the sump. I am not real familiar with the 3T-C but the front timing chain cover might be another place the drain could be fitted? A quick look will determine whether or not there is a "free" fitting or plug in an acceptable position. If not just go with the tried and true drain to sump.Originally Posted by TurboRA28

I just did this yesterday! T piece into oil sender, and drilled a hole in the sump, between the engine mount bracket and alternator, as close to the top as possible. 24 hour turbo conversion on a 2T hehe. (te04h)
good to hear that.. are you using TD06-17C on your 2T?
cheers all....
yeah figured the oil press sender would be it, goddamit, CBF going into sump.. but oh well gotta be done i guess.. cheers again

you dont have to tap into the sump you can use a point that runs into the timing cover
its located on the left hand side of the block and it goes back into the timing chain area and it already has a threaded nut in it, this is also were the boys in the states put there return for the large horse power T motors
i think thats were it is on all T blocks well thats were it is on mine and im planning on using it on my turbo 3t with a gt17 garret turbo
that place is not suitable for return as it is pressurize outlet. you can run the feeding hose to the turbo from there but you definately cannot run a return to there. there are 2 pressurize output on the left hand side(viewing from the front) on T block, one is for oil pressure switch and another one is locked with a bung when it comes standard(i guess toyota knows people will run turbo on their T block, that why they leave another extra port from on the block)
i was close enough it does one of the jobs

hey,
cheers again, hey i found a bung on the right side of the block, looks like there was something there and someone put a bolt in it, anyone know what it might be.. i know its kinda dodgy asking without photos .. i will have one later today..

its for coolant drainage from the block i guess..
Ahh, good point.. forgot bout that..
as it stands though, i will prob not be turboing it, i need the motor to hold together for a while till either i build a 4age for it, or my supra is back on the road..
still keep the pics and ideas coming, i may change my mind..
