stud pattern is 4x114.3
stock wheel width is 4.5 inches
Can anyone tell me the correct stud pattern width & offset for a ta22 Celica?
I am in the process of finishing my conversion & have bought the break upgrade kit from Hopper stoppers in Melbourne.
I have also bought wheels for the car the wheels fit on the rear hubs & work fine but do not fitt on the new front hubs which I have been told by hopper stoppers is correct for the
ta22.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Cohen

thanks for the help + rep to you. Any idea fo wheeles that suit?
look for 4*114.3 wheels, probably 7" wide in about a +15 offset. centre bore is irrelevant with aftermarket alloys, most use plastic or steel "egg" rings.
you might get a set of ma61 rims on if you use 185/60 tires.
This is a really far out, witty and clever signature.

the max engineerable width for wheels in NSW is 1.5 inches wider than the widest wheel available from the factory. Apparently the GT had a 5 inch wide wheel. This means that the max width you can get engineered is 6.5 inch. I am going to go 6 inch on the front just in case they say that because the GT wasnt released in Oz that the max allowable width is 6 inches.
(note; this is max engineerable width. If you dont want to have to engineer your wheels it is even less).
For the rear wheels the maximum allowable rim width is dependant upon the diff used.
Lzy80y,
The rim offset you need will depend on the width of the rims you use and of course what diff and brake upgrade you und up with if your going to be doing one.

just get your rims engineered and go for whatever the hell wheels you want to put on,
Cohen, how exactly do the wheels not fit on the front hub? Is it the stud pattern, which is different? Is it the centre of the wheels which is too small for the hub?
Your new hub, with larger brakes, will also be deeper. This will effectively increase your front track, eg, If you install a different hub onto your TA22, say an RA60 hub, which is from memory 10.0mm deeper, increasing your front track by 20.0mm. Using a hub like this, your standard Celica offset rims would extend further out toward the edge of the guard. You may need to dhange the offset, I had to add 10mm positive offset on 7" rims.
Hope this helps, cheers Chuck.

Have a look at this thread. Click me. There is a list of other cars with the same stud pattern but not necessarily with the right offset. Towards the bottom of page 1 is also a link to the R31 skyline alloy wheels page. They have the same stud pattern so any of those alloys will fit providing they're not too wide.
