Add another colour to the TA22 list. For 71 and 72 anyway.

    804: Cobalt Firmament.

I'm pleased to see that my RA23's colour (listed simply as "orange") is on that site. When the time comes to transform the Orange Eyesore into the Orange Nice Looking Thing, this will be useful information to have.
Indeed Toyota's code 352 (ORANGE) is there. But again, you go to a paint shop with the make and year of your car, and the colour code from the firewall and they will mix it up for you from there. I had 4 litres of acrylic 352 made up for my RA23 like this. didnt match the crap that was painted on my car about 4 years before i got it, but it matched perfectly to what was under that

Tosco, due to the differences between graphics cards and monitors, you will never get the colour accurate on a screen... same differences between printers will have the same effect. get a paint shop to show you the paint chips, or get a small paint sample made up and paint something like a boot lid to show up the true colour.

I would be inclined to give pos rep to anyone who wishes to do this... perhaps if somebody is in the paint industry, and has access to PPG, Dupont, Spartan etc paint codes and mixtures, they should do up a database (microsoft access etc) and post this on... the database can then be used to search through years, models, firewall paint codes, and manufacturer mixture codes.

Pos rep would be an incentive. If anyone has access to the info required (more than the limited brands given in the sites pointed to in this thread) and wants me to do the database up, we can share/relish in the rewards.

Hmm strange... I thought I did that:
    http://www.glasurit.com/COLOR/new-co...php?language=1

Just remember that theres seperate entries for Toyota AU, Toyota NZ, Toyota JPN etc. listings.
The easiest way to search is just to punch in the paint code and look at the resultant list.

Otherwise theres the hard copy version which is a little easier to search if you don't really know what you're looking for: http://www.glasurit.com/COLOR/ColorM...OLOR-LIST.html

You need to find someone with the formula...

I'm an ex-spray painter, and we definately had the formula for 023, I'll see what I can find out for you... But, we used Akzo Noble (Sikkens) paints which are the highest quality paints out there... So, if I can arrange something, the price might not be to your likeing...

How much are you after? 4 Litres?

I'll send myself a PM to remind myself to chase this up for you...
