Whiteline did a custom one for me.. Quick turn around and from memory was almost same price as their off the shelf items.

    Cheers

I found the off the shelf whiteline RA28 bar at full lock the front of the wheels/tyres rubbed pretty bad.

    - maybe I have more full lock with rack n pinion not sure
    - was with +20mm offset wheels.. maybe some +10mm or so would have fixed it also.

From memory Joel (BigPerm) had a lot of issues with "the other big swaybar manufacturer in Sydney"

    Hi,

I got a custom one made by KMAC.

The standard TA22 sway bar wouldn't fit over the diff 'cos the RA25 (although it uses the TA22 chassis) has the 7.5inch diff. So, they made one on the spot for me, customed to fit around the diff.

Also I didn't want holes drilled into the chassis and asked if they (seeing they were custom building it) could make it to fit into the existing manufacturing holes in the chassis - which they did. They did it all in 2hours and charged me the same as the stock TA22 bar.

Hiya Rob, yeah mate it is a UZS131 Crown Royal conversion. Not mine unfortuneately, found it surfing the Japanese car yard sites !!!!Would I like to own it? OH YES PLEASE.
Unfortunately it had already sold, Damn it.

Back on topic, thanks for the insights guys, it would appear that any of the manufacturers can do the job, just depends on who you get, and what frame of mind they are in.

    Many thanks Chuck.

I got King springs to make me one on the Gold Coast Chuck. I Just bent up some 6mm rod I had laying around to the shape I wanted and they copied it.

Steve, yeah I have a few spare sway bars laying around in the "wrecking yard". So I planned on cutting and shutting a mockup. Being 3 dimensional it would be better than a handfull of measurements.

    cheers Chuck.

i heard that there is a company that makes orange swaybars, my brother went through weeks of hassle with the company, i would avoid it like the plague.

after they stuff you around numerous times you eventually speak to the manager who will give you a big sob story about how hard it is to run a business and make money etc...

I dont care ill say it, K-MAC are absolutely useless!!!!!! I also had weeks of difficulties with them making custom bars. Travelling an hour with a car on a car trailer numerous times and unloading in that shit house carpark, endless excuses why they were not done when they said they were going to be and if it wasnt for me telling the 'expert' at k-mac that the sway bar he designed wasnt going to fit id still be trying to get the shit from there. In the end their custom stuff is only ok.

    Hi,

No, it's a real bright orange.

Interesting read... some people don't think much of them, yet myself and others have not had any issues and would recommend them.
