They'll probably fit, but why would you bother with 7" wide rims?
hey guys with the mk3 supra., what specs are the wheels? mk3________16X7__37offset__23lbs____stock tire size = 225/50-16
5x114(4.5") bolt pattern Bolts that are 12mmX1.5
& a Centerbore of 60.1mm
is this correct?
coz thinking of getting the 17" LENSO CF RIMS 5 STUD 5 x 114.3 /5 x 120
Rim Material: Alloy
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 114.3 / 5 x 120 Rim Width: 7J
Rim Brand: Lenso
Rim Diameter (inches): 17
Centrebore: 72.6
Offset: +40
Now im pretty dumb when it comes to wheelsbut can these lenso fit in my mk3 ma70
They'll probably fit, but why would you bother with 7" wide rims?

Yep the offsets are about right but depending on what model youve got Id go 8" wide fronts, 9" wide rears. (Rears maybe 9.5" but wont fit on a narrow body)
I used to eat alot of natural foods. That was until I learned that most people died of natural causes.
If factory offset is +37, then you have to replace it with something between +37 and +25.
Its illegal to put a lower offset rim on your car (it reduces track).
However, I seem to recall some MA70 rims being +44 ?
Inwhich case +40 rims would be perfectly legal.
But I'm not 100% sure on this.

ma70 deffinately +37 offset. There is always confusion with the *A70 offsets as the GA & JZA are different, vut i know that the MA70&71 are +37, it says it on the wheel.

Kudos to Norbie.
What kind of a knob goes from a 7" wheel to a 7" wheel?
Must.... avoid.... urge... to... upgrade... parts I haven't.... used.... yet.....
There are some MA70 rims that are only 6.5" wide and +44 offset.
A few MX83 Cressida's are using these because they sit inside the guards, unlike the +37's

My point was more than you can easily get a 9" rim under there.
Seems a bit backwards to shell out for wheels and not really achieve anything. It's all personal choice but I guarantee later he'll be wishing he went bigger.

yeah there were two types released. a +37 on earlier rims, a +44 on later models..Originally Posted by CrUZida

agree with most of what the other said. They will fit and the offset is good (centrebore can be fixed with concentric ring expanders) but 17x7" isnt worth it esp given that you can fit wide tyres on the rear.
If its pure cosmetic that you're after then go for it, but if u want fat rears, get an 8 or 9inch rear and 1 inch narrower on the fronts...
I had 17x8 and 17x9 on my SW20 and had 255/40/17 on the rears and god does it look mean... Will easily fit on a Supra...
