I don't see the MR-S and JZA80 having similar floorpans... but you never know.
I guess if anybody has tried it before and know, that'd help, but if not, what are the distances from each bolt, spacing etc that holds the seats down? Just wondering what my options are.
Basically I want to put a set of the new lowmax seats from Bride into my Supra so I get a little extra head clearance when I have a helmet on, unfortunately they don't make Supra rails in the LowMax series, however, I remember the MR-S as having similar seats to the Supra, and though just maybe. ^_^' (talking about JZA80 here just in case).
Cheers in advance.

I've got a set of Bride rails for my Recaro SR3....came as a package, but they must be available?
I'm told brides are the best rails to get your hands on as they are lower, and the Recaro rails are too high....
Just some info.....
I'm not sure the mounts would be the same as the JZA80 uses 5 bolts(one on side of trans tunnel) for seat mounting, although the bride rail only uses 4 of the bolts, it does use the side on one on the trans tunnel...
I also have the factory seat and rails in my cupboardcan pull it out and measure stuff if you get stuck.
No, I need to know if the lowmax fit, as they don't make lowmax for the Supra.
Yeah, Bride Ergo 1 & Brix 1 share rails with Recaro SRs.Originally Posted by Alchemist
I am guessing that the Bride 'Lowmax' seats have a specific rail, howoever (probably side-mounted for starters)
Like I said, Kagetsu, I think your chances are fairly slim - the chances of MR-S rails being similar to MKIV Supra are a bit like any random car having similar rails to another random car... UNLESS Toyota happened to standardize parts on 2 cars from the same era. In my limited experience, this only happens with cars with very similar floorpans/chassis.
