1UZ-FE is similar but not the same; you need to use larger injectors (550cc) and you need some way of trimming fuel mixtures (eg SAFC) for this to work properly.

You can't use the 7M-GE airflow meter, it's a flapper-type meter as opposed to the Karman Vortex MAF in the 7M-GTE and 1UZ-FE.

So in short, for a direct swap you need a 7M-GTE MAF sensor - to my knowledge nothing else is 100% compatible.

The 1UZ-FE afm electronics are interchangable with the 7M-GTE electronics, but the 1UZ-FE afm houseing is ~25% larger than the 7M-GTE's... Therefore they are not interchangable without modifying the fuel delivery...

As said above the 7M-GE has a flap type afm so a 7M-GTE/1UZ-FE afm will not do you any good...

    so for 7MGTE = $900

    and for 1UZFE,
    $150 + 500 (injectors) + $250 safc...?

If it's just stuffed electrically, 30 seconds with a screwdriver will swap the guts of a 1UZ one straight into the 7M one, without any need to worry about other details then. 7MGE's can have both types, Cressida flap ones are the most common, but not the only ones.
