Default Nissin 4 pot caliper differences?

HI all im looking to do a brake upgrade on my jzx73 and im planing on going for the ba falcon rotors with the nissan 4 pots, any way my question is, is there any differences to look out for with the nissan calipers, i was looking at a set of r32 gtst calipers but dont know if they will fit the 30mm disc, would it fit or is it only the r33 calipers that fit the 30mm disc?
I also looking else where and have seen that the ba 296mm rotor is only 28mm thick is this correct?

    cheers
    Pete

R32 GTST calipers are for the 280x30mm disc. R33's are for the 296x30mm disc. The 26mm ones are from the earlier 300ZX.

    Fixed...

    Pete,

For the conversion you would be going, you will need the R33 GTS-T calipers... (same as R32 GTR, but different to R32 GTS-T)

If you need the R33 ones it's easy, they're smooth looking. The R32/Z32 ones have ridges on them.

Nope... The early Z31s had single piston calipers, and the late Z31s had twins...

The only real (non cosmetic) difference in them is longer mounting legs on R33 compared to R32 to clear the larger diameter disc. Thats why you need the R33 version.

You may also need to have your 4 stud hub machined down to fit the BA rotor over the top.

Ask Peewee he knows this stuff back to front on mx73s.
