    Default Shannons Eastern Creek Classic car show 26/08/07

    Hi guys seen this in the paper on Friday...

    Location: Eastern Creek International Raceway, NSW

    Saturday 25th - Sunday 26th August. The largest gathering of classic vehicles in NSW. Saturday: Trade displays and sales, CSCA Supersprint Circuit event.

    Sunday: 1700 members vehicles on display and on parade. If you like cars, motor bikes, trucks, buses or military vehicles, this is the show for you and all the family!

    I'm thinking of going down if any one wants to meet up?
    in the paper it said 135 clubs were going to be there.
    Was Toymods invited?

    I go to this every year as my dads in a car club affiliated with Shannons.. Always a good day and heaps of awesome cars on display! The lunch time races are awesome to watch, xu1's, v8 falcons, mini's and an old 4 door MG last year just to name a few roaring around the track!

    Al Palmers TE27 was there last year! Yummo! As well as a very tidy *A22/23

    I was heading west this afternoon seeing all the classic cars on the M4...

    Spotted an FJ and an FJ Ute cruising along, both the standard brown colour... Crazy guys driving these cars on the road I think...

    It was a really good day out and I have to give a massive thanks to OSJ for inviting Mandy and myself to drive his two awesome MkII Corona's to the event.

    I'll try and get some pics I took of the procedings up later.

    I think we'll be needing to get a Toymods display organised for this one next year.

    Sounds like a great idea! There certainly is a lack of Japanese representation at these days.

    My old mz21 would look a wee bit out of place there i think but members with classic's on display would be great for the club i reckon!
