I'm well interested, Mitch (As I've already said in the rolla thread)! It'll be a great outing.
Same format as last year for the CCG gang with the 'Chuckwagon' BBQ fired up for our members!
Any of our CCG Corolla brethren are welcome to either display at our area or join in at the Rolla Club ACT site as per the post earlier by Trendact.
The Council of ACT Motor Clubs invites you to join in or just attend this huge car display on Sunday 25 November 2007 at John Knight Park, Belconnen ACT.
Last year the CCG alone displayed over 20 cars and even had the Neal Bates Automotive Rally Corolla there on its own display. If we can get it back again this year it will look brilliant between the Rolla Club display and ours (can we do this please Steve..can we...can we PLEASE?)

History
Marques in the Park is the Council of ACT Motor Clubs spring time motoring event hosted by the Canberra Region Morris Minor Club. Each November, hundreds of vehicle enthusaists join a post-breakfast cruise to John Knight Memorial Park to enjoy at day in the shade on the shores of Lake Ginninderra in Belconnen.
During its first four years, this great event has continued to grow from 150 vehicles in 2003, 250 in 2004, 500 in 2005, to over 600 during 2006. All vehicle enthusiasts and vehicle types are invited to participate in an event well supported local motoring clubs. Click on the posters below to view images from previous events.
If you are interested in polishing up the ride joining our CCG display, please post here or email to [email protected] or [email protected].
Cheers

Does anyone know what time the wet t-shirt comp kicks off this year? It was pretty good last year and would be a shame to miss it....
I am quite interested, and I think a few of the other CCCVic boys will be also...
Do you need to register?
Also, it mentions that it's free, is this free for the public or free to enter your car?
Well the CCG will have five extra spots however we will need confirmed numbers so we don't leave out all the Canberra boy's who want to attend.Originally Posted by twentyEight
Either that or you CCVic Boys can always arrange your own placing with the event organizer.
Yes it is completely free to both attend and enter the show.
Wet T-shirt comp WTF?
Also anybody that would like to get there car in the CCG stand please send an email to [email protected] so we can start sorting out numbers as we only have limited spots.
Cheers

Is my name down as one of the spots? I've only expressed interest in this thread, but I definitely wanna dust off the 22 and come along.

So far we (Mitch, Phil and Myself) only have a list of people who we would like to enter but nothing confirmed yet.
So if you would like to enter just send an email to the above address with name & car details (if you can attach a picture of your car as well that would be great!)
Cheers
