i wouldn't believe the things tuned to 100% not in that amount of time anyway.

when you add together the time taken to mount the motor and tranny, fab up a tailshaft, wire everything in, weld everything up, i dont think you've got any time at all to get it into an efficient state of tune, definitely not in 3 days.

They just did a basic road tune, not even on a dyno. Not sure what computer is in it, I suspect Adaptronic or stock.

the real question is WHY did they do it in 3 days, im sure if they took a bit longer and did a better job it would have been a much better advertisment for their company instead of what looks like it was done in a back yard.

and in true jap tuner form in the last pic there is a cable tie sitting on the strut tower. Looks like that is what holds half the engine in there

imho - if youre going to show something off - you do it properly...

cbf researching it, but if this a fabricator's car, i wouldnt show that off to anyone. would be driven to a dyno for a quick test-n-tune, then sneak it back for the 'proper' pipework - as if youd take it anywhere near an autosalon!

    It runs the Celsior auto.
They had it jacked up outside the dyno at Autosalon, fixing an oil leak or something.

you can get internal gate versions. ive seen a couple but id go with an external unless theres a space restriction.

    cheers

ps if there welds are like that all the time it scares me as to how much thought they put into a job.

i rushed my corolla to get it running b4 i had to blueslip it but never got the chance to "tidy it up" b4 it was smashed, but took it to autosalon after getting it carolined (still had a bent diff in it though)

its an external gate 60mm or something, it actually never got driven, or tuned at all it was free reved in the car park without even a wideband in the exhaust then the fuel curve made to look linear plus a bit on boost....its amazing something didn't explode, not the way cars at autosalon are meant to be but i guess it worked...

    i would be severely embaressed
to advertise that power level from 4 litres with large turbo.that power level is achieved with half the gear.............
3 days? how many people? one can do a full conversion in a week............
