Joshstix,
So true. Most clubs are run at marginal levels of finance.
But if club members are supportive of the idea then it should be fairly easy to motivate members to participate in fund raising for it.
Cheers,
-Paul.
The problem with funding it that way is that our memberships are run such that the club clears about $5 per new member last time I checked.
I definately like hte concept though.

"If you keep fixing it for long enough, eventually it WILL break."
- RA28 3TGTE - I sold it. Bad idea. www.glisten.net.au/celica/index.htm
- RA23 3TGTE - 168rwkw 12.9sec Toffee Apple [URL="http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/threads/26625-RA23-3TGTE-168rwkw-12-9sec-Toffee-Apple?p=561925#post561925[/URL]
I think if there was going to be a sub club it would make much more sense for it to be a Brisbane/Melbourne chapter of Toymods. That way you would bring more new members into the community rather than a Sydney classic celica sub-club which would be predominantly existing members.
The recent classic celica cruises up in Brisbane show make it appear to possibly be the best location, but there may be other cruises being organised elsewhere that i'm not aware of as i pay more attention when classic celicas are mentioned.
