Has there been any invesitagation on this?? These look like the sort of thing I would want to hold my wheels on, so long as I can be confident in their ability to not fail.
Oh, and the weight saving could be far better acheived by me not eating Pizza on a Friday night...

Doing the things that aren't popular... cause being popular and being good are often distinctly different.
Our wheel nuts are not cut from a billet and then T6 treated, that is actually the cheap way to do it. Ours are individually forged, and we leave the forging marks on the hex to prove it. The threads and the tapered end are the only parts that are cut. These things are super strong, in testing we found the studs would snap if you continued applying torque. More to the point, we have been selling them for years now and never a single problem.
