what do you classify as stock? even with just an exhaust upgrade the boost will go up.
id guess at about 8psi factory but any other mods will make it rise.

I classify stock as exactly that, un-touched from the factory.

Are you just guessing 8psi or you've seen this in real life?

90% of toyotas seem to run about 8-9psi in totaly std form but ive seen it vary car to car also.
thats why i said about 8psi as no two cars will put down the exact same power output or run the exact same boost pressure even from factory you will see them vary +or- .5psi or so.

if its extremely important i can go thru some info i have here but even then they are going to give me a range rather than a single figure. ie 60-80kpa rather than 70kpa.

    cheers

as a rough idea, the vvti 2j is reported to make 350bhp... I would be very suprised if they pumped 10psi in to make so little power.

I'd be with linden here and say 7-9psi

and it would also depend on what car? supra, aristo etc as to what tune is in the ECU therefore determining power.

jesse's car picked up 10kw from memory by converting to the supra ecu
