im using a wolf 3d ver 4 plus on my 4gaze i dont think that wolf have a map for the 4age but have 3sgte map which can be modified to suit. If my car was in one piece atm i would send you my map. You may well need to modify the dizzy to cas if you have a bigport or 20v or you can get a little black box from wolf to boost the signal i had mine modified. I quite like the wolf the handcontroller has some cool functions too i beleive they are adding datalogging soon too if not allready

I use one (V4 non-plus) on a ZE. It should run a GE fine if you scale for injector size. May need to play with the ignition setup too (dizzy vs twin coils).

It would definitely need a retune to run properly, though it may get you started. Your best bet would be too contact AEM, who make Wolf, and ask them.

EDIT - Just remembered I got my engine running on a GE map (ran mega-rich), so if AEM are no help, I may still have it floating around.

    I have a Wolf 3D on a 4ag 20v in a sports sedan. It is basically a stock 20v with 95kw at the rear wheels @ 8000rpm

OK cool, well at my work i can do tuning and shit. so it doesn't really matter about that. I just was wondering if there was a map around i could get, and if people are happy with it.

re datalogging: it is coming out very soon! The trial version has been given to some distributors and they are now waiting on the final version. This is going to make tuning SO much easier.

I had a wolf 3d ver 3 on my 20v and it was not as good as i expected. It made 95kw atw in my AE93, but was abit thirsty and hard to start on cold mornings. I heard though the ver 4 can match the dizzy teeth so you don't need a single point at TDC. This helps with starts and the ver 4 has more accurate rpm adjustments and stepper motor for idle control.

If you take it to a reputable place it will be pretty decent and they should know how to adjust a base map for you.

That is no fault of the ECU, that is just an imperfectly tuned ECU.

The increased RPM resolution will be of no noticeable benefit unless you have a wildly tuned engine

usually more to do with the settings as well, check your temp table vs fuel add on and also the time drop vs engine temp.

Ok finally downloaded the maps off my laptop, ive put them up in my webspace so anybody can access them.

There are 5 maps in total all in .WMC and .WMV format so you will need Wolf software to view them.

The MR2 one is off a race car and is interesting to see some of the variables. Theres a couple from my own engine before it was fully tuned, these wont suit most applications as my engine was a bit unique in some of its design.

For base tuning the factory ecu map or Stuarts (oldcorollas) Best Guess are probhably the two maps to start with.

You will need to save the map to your hard drive then add them to the wolf files in your software.

    heres the link...
