while they might be "free spinning" they're not really free revving.. my stockie would only get about 7100 before valve bounce![]()

Pretty much all VVTi engines are interference, as is the 5VZ (not sure about the rest of the VZ's).
From about the mid 90's onwards MANY toyota belt driven engines became interference.

I have some serious doubts about the 20V blacktop engines being non interference also, I will check soon.
