It doesn't have the colours, but it maybe helpful?
Another option would be to trace it back to the ECU pins?
I'm not a big fan of going off wiring colours, I find they change a lot!

Does anyone know what the colour and fuctions are for the 4 wires coming off the TPS. There is obviously a ground, power to, variable power from and an idle one. I just dont know which colour does which. There is a brown one, yellow with blue stripe, yellow with red stripe and a blue with black stripe. Thanks guys!

mmmm i tested one the other day on a soarer and it seems that the idle and throttle ones are the other way around... what does the idle one do anyway?

The IDL contact connects to ground when the throttle is closed...
Oh and I'm not sure which way that image is, looking from the back, or looking from the front...Reference off the open / close direction?

awesome!! thanks mate, its weird that when i was measuring voltage with the car on one was a ground wire, one was a 5v wire, one varied as you opened and closed the throttle between 1 and 5 volts or there abouts and one remained at about 12 volts regardless of where the throttle was. thats what confused me about the idle situation. Surely it would drop to 0v under idle as suggested in your diagram... that leads me to believe the TPS is dodgy or somehting

It may just need adjustment
But yep at idle it should be gnd, then go to 12V at quite a small throttle opening
