Will Celica ST204 inserts fit? They're the only superstrut inserts I can find on the KYB site.
Well, I've got myself a spare set of front struts for my AE101 Levin. As my car has Superstrut suspension, off the shelf coilovers are few and far between... (I have a choice of TRD and Tein).
I'm contemplating building a set of coilovers using those weld-on sleeves and KYB (or similar) inserts.
My struts are 50.5mm in diameter, where can I get a suitable sleeve kit, and what's the go with working out spring rates, damper stroke and ride height? I have king spring lows in at the moment, which lowers the car by about an inch, and I wouldn't mind another 1/2 inch or so lower.
Can anyone point me in the right directions?
Thanks.

the koni sleeves are fine
if you're struggling to work out bump and rebound travel, insert and housing length and etc for your application i recommned you buy the trd ones off the shelf, will insure you against trying to nut it out yourself and making a mess of it

I'll be able to work it out ok, I just need the formulas etc.
Any idea about what inert are compatible with the superstrut struts?
formulas?
well for street use you want at least 120mm-150mm of travel minimum
distributed to about 2/3 bump 1/3 droop travel from the static position
