i have a mechanical fuel pump that i stopped using due to installing an electric. its currently bolted to my 2tg/3thybrid linked back on itself filled with petrol to save its seals. If you want to buy it I'm happy to sell it to you.

im after a new mechaincal fuel pump or a rebuild kit around north sydney area
ive got a mechanical pump but it hasnt been used for about 4 months & has been pumping air through it, so most likely the seals all have dried up.. right
or any recommidations.

I have a couple of mech pumps you can have. I don't know what condition they are in but you are welcome to take them off my hands as I have no use for them.

2T-G - Half the valves but twice the fun.
Right? No, I don't think so if this is just a recent observance since you've put on a clear hose. The bubbles aren't a sign of anything, only its pressure & volume & ability to draw/suck are. The valves are usually phonelic(sp?) /plastic.Originally Posted by Cob604

I think i might have a genuine toyota pump, still in the box in my shed for a 2T - never used. If you're interested i'll try and dig it up this weekend
