Default 4A-GE smallport ECU wiring question

Hi all, just in the process of tidying up a loom for a smallport conversion into KE70.

    There's 3 slots on the ECU, a large 26p, medium 16p, and a small 12p.

Now I have the 26 and 16, but went to the wreckers thisarvo to raid the toyota's for the right plug to go in the 12p slot. I pulled the ECU out of a 93 widebody V6 Camry and took 3 of the 4 plugs from that, a 26, 16 and a 12. Problem still lies in the fact i have not got the correct 12p plug as the spacing of the pins is wider on the smallport ECU than that of the Camry.

Does someone know what model Toyota I would be able to raid next for the correct plug to use in that slot? There's obviously no SX Corolla's at pick-a-part so I'd like to find it on a more common model.

I had this problem also but couldn't find anything else to fit (doesn't mean it doesn't exist).
Can you call around other wreckers ? The 100kw's are pretty common engines. I found a plug at Sydney Pick N Payless last time.
    Cheers

Got the correct wider pinned 12p plug thismorning. It came from a Dec '93 widebody camry sedan with 5S-FE. The Nov '93 widebody Camry wagon I checked had a different computer again, so i don't know if all pre November 93 ecu's have all got different ecu pinouts to all Dec 93 onward ones but that would be my guess.

All SV21 Camry's I looked at seem to have the yellow plugs which I think may be the same as bigport 16V 4A-GE. From memory the 3 plugs had the same amount of pins so i guess anyone who needs that gear for a bigport conversion can keep that in mind when they get to that stage.

The Dec '93 widebody Camry I pulled the 12p from also had the same 16p and 26p so if you need a full set of ECU plugs that's the model I suggest people to look for if they need a complete set of 3 plugs to do a smallport 16V ECU install.

Hope this info can help others in the future.

yeah you just need to find a toyota from similar age as the ECU you are trying to find plugs for.

For a smallport ECU, basically most 1989-1994ish year model toyota with GREY plugs on the ECU will match. I've even used a 12pin connector from an SW20 ABS module before.

Yeah grey 5S-FE plugs worked a treat.
