ok bought the airflow meter because the other was stuffed. plugged the v8 airflow meter in and the engine keeps stalling...the problem as the old airflow meter...anyone know what this could be?

Do you have the adjustment screw on the 1UZ AFM? Is it open or closed?

no adjustment screw its a standard v8 one...but it is fully closed from standard...i have no dash light to no what the codes are...its on a mk2 corona how can i set that up to check!

Hook up the check engine light then bridge the connectors on the diagnostics port.

Hi mate, you'll need different injectors or you'll be walking a fine line as far as leaning the engine out. A 7M doesn't need any more encouragement to go 'bang'

so the engine was not drawring air through the new AFM? you just connected it and left it sitting there in the engine bay?

ok put it in properly and it still ran shit...looked at the oxy sensor and there was a wire disconnected connected that and now the car runs perfect....dont kno for how long lol

Dude, the air flow meter measures how much air is getting into your engine. If all the air getting into your engine doesn't flow through it, then things will be all sorts of bad.
