I'm guessing this means that theere will be no need for a CAMS level2 licence this year and the event should be a touch cheaper. Or is it too early to say?

Sucks about the Khana will still be coming regardless. Looking forward to the drags and will try and bring a decent camera along as they made for awesome pics last time it was on.
If in doubt power out
Khana is still on and it will be run by a cams afiliated club

Not stylish but a lot of fun - my khana pics.
+1 on the scoring. Last years system did not encourage "having a go". And unless you read the detailed sup regs noone realised how hard we were being penalised until the first results came out at lunch time. By then too late to salvage any serious competitive attempt.
I'd like to see only your fastest time on each test to be used in the calculation. Not ALL you times. This way, we can drive conservatively to get one in the bag and then go for it, will be a lot more fun and entertaining that way.

^^^ i'll see your 2 cents and raise you another 2
Of the 50 or so motorkhana's i've done, they have all used the 'fastest time outta 2 runs' scoring...there'd be a reason for that

Hi guys,
Yes, as reported, unfortunately Toyota Car Club will not have sufficient numbers coming this year to be able to hold the event for the Nationals, which I was a little dissappointed about.
However, the fact we are not holding the khana DOES NOT MEAN there will not be one. The nationals organisers have known for months that we were unable to help them out this year, so I can only assume that as they have advertised the khana that they have found another CAMS club that can help them out.
In regards to past events and including all runs, this was mainly down to timing / organisation. As I'm sure you can understand, it takes a certain amount of organisation and people numbers in order to hold an event like this, and IF we were holding an event this year, I'm sure we would have had two runs happening at one time. The sole reason behind including all runs last year was the unknown as to how many runs we would get done on the day and as to if we could run two courses at a time. Organiser numbers and experience was the main issue last year (please keep in mind that many of our club members were only running their second motorkhana at the time). So, firstly, I'd like to say a big thanks to the guys for taking the time to travel all the way to NSW fro Adelaide just to hold the event (for example, I only came strictly to hold the khana), and I do hope that next year we'll be invited back again and that we can have the numbers to run the event the way I'd like to see it run for the betterment of all...
Also, I wish the best of luck to the organisers this year and hope the event is every bit as well recieved and fun as we all expect it to be.

Dont get me wrong, I had an absolute ball!
I just wished I had not made assumptions about the scoring system.
In the end it didnt matter - it was a thoroughly fun day.
