What injectors would I need to run to get increased fuel flow in a 1uz?

7M and 7MGTE injectors are an easy slot in upgrade depending how much extra fuel you need.

You just need to shave down a slot on the plug to use the UZ loom plug...5 seconds work.

rx-7 13b turbo and n/a from the late 80s on are a direct fit too, top feed high impedance

    n/a ones are 460cc, turbo are 550cc

I think the RX ones need new plugs, but no biggie.

Fuel requirements are approx 30% more for E85 over normal 98 but injector sizing will still come down to what power you are chasing?

Well, as much as possible, but if I got 300 at the rears with a set of rx7 injectors I'd be happy.

Stock engine then? 300rwkw is a walk in the park and will handle that all day every day with the right support systems.

7MGTE are perfect for that and a better option than the RXs which are hard to control at low duty cycles and tend to give pretty horrible economy because of that. Best to run the smallest injector that will give you your target hp with a nice safe headroom, run them 80% duty cycle max. You might even get away with 7M but i haven't done the calcs to be sure? Given that the GTEs supported 400rwkw on mine it's a good bet.

Or, given the price of the 7mgte ones, how about these?

please correct if im wrong, but i was looking at some ford bosch motorsport upgrade injectors for my 1uz but they were only a single port injector instead of multiport injector if that the correct term.So possibly the fuel wouldnt distribute efficently between to ports for multivalve heads.

Those bosch ones may be the same??Hope that makes sense.

Ah, good point mate. Thanks for the info.

What I did find is, the bosch one is to fit a 14mm fuel rail, whereas the 1uz ones are 11mm.

    So it wouldn't work anyway.

    Thanks for the tip though!

7M ones might do the job for 300rwkw....have to do the calcs. I tend to run mine at a little higher base pressure as should give better atomisation....can't hurt anyways as long as your pump(s) are up to it?

    Higher base pressure.

Do you achieve that with an adjustable FPR?

    I will be getting Two bosch 044's. - I assume that's enough?

With a few pump from a magna (because I have it lying around) for the lift pump. That sound cool?

I'd prefer to go for 7mgte beacuse it'll give me the room to get more grunt if i want.
