I believe if you put the accelerator WOT it switches off the fuel injectors to clear it whilst you are cranking.

Perhaps if Roundy's suggestion doesn't work for you... remove the plugs, clean them off, then pull the EFI fuse and crank the motor to clear it out a bit more. Put the plugs back in, and you should be right to go.

Sucks if you have a top mount intercooler though!

yeah otherwise pull out fuel pump relay and just crank over for about 30 seconds with throttle fully open then put relay back in you should be sweet.

Otherwise you will have to defanetely pull out the plugs and clean them up like spectral said

That's not going to work it'll only dry out the cylinders that are open on intake if it dries out at all

    always works for me

3/4 of the cylinders will have a valve open.... will be enough to start it

You can still pull the plugs out and let the majority of it evaporate....easy, but takes a bit of time.

    pull out plugs.

    throw in a match

    clears it out ALOT quicker
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are

Foot flat to the floor on the accelerator and wind it over. With all that fuel it needs a big gasp of air and with throttle wide open it should give it enough.

btw, having the fuel pump on constant will not cause flooding.

Its actually quite hard to flood a well tuned EFI engine (assuming everything is working)

Yes this is true the only way you will flood an EFI engine is if you have a leaking injector or there is way too much fuel being injected in while cranking, so just leaving the key on won't do it unless something else is wrong.
