    Default W57/58 dog-shift kits?

Anyone, preferably local, make dog-shift selector conversions for the W57/58 gearboxes?

    hey bill,

i am looking for a synchro'd 58 gearset also, and i have been talking to gohardbits in NZ.

well this is a reply email.

"Hello Andrew the gear ratio's are listed in the blurb about the gear kit on my website gohardbits.co.nz The 400 rwhp won't be a problem as we have them running more than that for a long period with no problems , yes we can do the full supply and install for you, would be looking at just over the 5 k NZD mark for a full 5 speed gearkit installed providing there is nothing needed in your box ie bearings, synchro's etc. We are out of stock of the kits at present but will be manufacturing more, what is your time frame for replacement?
    thanks for your enquiry.
    Merv."

5k supply and install is pretty good, one of the members here is running one of these. I cant remember his name, but he has the ke70 with 20v 1.8turbo race car pushing 300+kw at the treads.

    dx20v maybe ?
i dont have a funny or cool signature.

    Thanks guys.
$5,000 wouldn't surprise me in the least - It'd be a good $700 per ratio change and there's at least four of those, then the addition of the dog selectors.

    Bill

Albins only show a synchro set - but it'd be worth emailing them to be sure

It's going onto the back of a Suzuki Swift engine, it's not going to line up anyway.
