Default 1st Gen Celica adjustable control arms

Nothing much turned up after a search but does anyone know where one may aquire adjustable control arms to suit the 1st Gen Celica? I'm primarily looking for rear upper and lower arms and panhard.
Maybe something suited to another vehicle may fit?

I recall Lance buying a bunch of adjustable suspension stuff from T3 for his TA22.

I think he was going to use the AE86 rear 4-links

I was thinking AE86 stuff but I have not been able to proove or disproove whether this fits the RA28. Was hoping someone here could confirm.

The upper and lower arms fit off the ae86 but the panhard rod off the ae86 is too long

Thanks TRD-12A thats good news. I thought I read somewhere that the AE86 had different bolt size to the RA28 but this may be false news.
Anyone know how much longer the AE86 panhard is? I'm sure with a bit ot trimming an adjustable one could be made to fit otherwise.

Try Sleeka Spares or Whiteline for adjustable panhard rod.

As for what you call control arms, they are actually trailing arms, hence no joy in your searches. Control arms hold the front struts to the engine crossmember. If you want to look at what others have done, check out this thread:

How will that go for slop around the larger diameter holes for the RA?? Might need a locating sleeve either side.

I see that Whileline can supply an adjustable panhard for the RA28 which is a start. They also supply adjustable upper and lower trailing arms for the AE86.
Unfortunately when I called, the guy at the other end of the line was far from helpful and didn't want to give any advise at all. Apparently they cannot (or just won't) change their product either when I suggested changing the bush to suit the larger RA28 14mm bolt.

I'm pretty sure if I buy these I could do it myself......

T would be interested if this does work as I have a set off a AE86 I would like to fit to the 23.

    Craig,

Get a reducer made out of mild or stainless steel. Wouldn't need to be a real big item, ID the same as the AE86 bush, OD the same as the RA23 bolt, then stepped up on the outside to a couple of mm larger OD, with the smaller OD section the same thickness as the steel on the RA23 diff mount, and the larger OD section about 1.5-2mm thick. Get 4 per control arm. Any monkey with a lathe could make something like that up accurately. From memory though, there are a couple of bolts which go through the subframe rails. Where these are, the smaller OD section would nee to be much longer, however a quick measurement will tell you how long.

    Thanks Mat
I contacted Sleeka Spares and Dave was most helpful.
Uncortunately he doesn't do the lower arms but I didn't expect him to as it's not a common one to have adjustable. I might just try the modified Whiteline idea. I'm sure changing the bush and/or crush tube in them is no real trouble.
As for the front arms good to know the T3 ones fit but I'm not sure where I'm going there yet as I'm changing over to rack and pinion steering in the RA28 with AE86 crossmember and rack.

i run t3 steering arms in my 28 with ke71 power rack, fairly close to ae86 but they needed extra thread by about 40mm. so if you buy some get gab to extend the thread. i have adj lower control arms made by roadrunner fab if that helps.

    cheers mat
