fwiw: every toyota engine I've put on a stand has used M10x1.25mm (thread pitch) bolts ... but let me confirm that as the bolts I use are out in the shed.
Can anyone tell me the bolt size required to get my 3TGE on an engine stand?
(tried searching forums)
Thanks,

Thanks Chuckster.
Do they have to be longer than the standard bell housing bolts?
Generally speaking, I've found that head bolts from the same engine tend to work perfectly...
I can say 3T works, so if you've old ones... go for it.

Thanks WS.
I don't have spare ones but I can extract existing head bolts and use them as a sample to source others.
I'll agree with Chuckster, should be m10 x 1.25 - you'll probably need them to be 100mm long and also get some washers.

head bolts on a 3TC are the same thread (M12x1.25) as the bellhousing.
i would think that the 3TG will be the same.
length will depend on what the stand tubes are.

I found the cheapest way to buy 3/8 mild steel bolts and slip them through the threaded part and then run a 3/8 nut on the other side of the brackets.
no need for fancy high tensile fine threaded expensive bolts.![]()
