ANSA exhaust good exhaust for adub?

hey,

i'm a new forum member and have owned an aw11 for around 5 months now im starting to do some work to it slowly because i am an aprentice and don;t have much money, anyway i have found a second hand ansa cat back and was wondering whether they are good exhaust, if they are overly loud and if they do give a slight enhancement to performance,

welcome Mr Adub, cool name. Ansa usually are not too bad, i had one on mine for a while, post some pics it might be my old one LOLS, i sold it a while back and its been all over oz if its the one i am thinking of.
it had 4 outlets 2 on each side, the cat is a factory adub cat, wasnt overly loud infact it was pretty quite, especially compared to my 3 inch straight through system HAHAHAAHAHAHA

Yep thats my old one and i dont beleive its actually been on a car since it came off mine.

I think its a cool exhaust, sounded good and didnt restrict performance much on my car, ie was still making like 140 wasps at the wheels.

Pity someone has let the tips corrode tho

Read the add, the dude says he is sellin as it didnt suit an SC yet the car in my stolen youtube clip is infact on my supercharged car ??????????????????????????????????????

haha yeah I saw that, maybe he expected the downpipe to fit the headers? I quite like the quad tip, think it looks rad. IIRC you sold that not long after I came on the scene

hahah thanks guys yeh thats actually the one i was talking about, i actually want a quieter exhaust as my oem exhaust has leaks and and you can hear the tin cans jumping around from blocks away, and being ap plater the quieter the better ill try get some pics up of my car as soon as i figure out how

one more thing gun metal great looking car and harreh i have previously read through your aw11 thread and i really like your car and love the ride height are they bc coilovers?

Cheers mate, yup I'm running the BC's, not so sure I'd recommend them though if daily driven or you rack up a reasonable amount of km's. They are very highly sprung and just don't offer much droop. I plan on getting mine rebuilt in the future with some more streetable springs and have them shock dyno'd and the car cornerweighted. However the physical construction of them is quite nice.
