BIG alternator for a 22r?

I was wondering if anyone knows of an alternator thats
good for at least 80amp (prefer 100+) that will bolt onto a
22r in 89 lux. any help will be appreciated

why do you need such a big alternator? surely you cant fit too much stereo gear in a hilux.

89 model has external reg alternator good for about 40 amps tops. The late hilux 22r 95-97 had internal reg alternators good for about 60 amps. If you need more the you could prob go with an 85 or 120amp bosch alternator

is the late model 2.4L efi motor in the hiluxes and hiaces a 22RE or a 4YE? I refer to 2002 model etc...if so would one of those fit?

neither a 22re or 4ye. Hiluxs 97 was first injected motor with 2.7l 3rz-fe and hiace 98? it think with a 2.4l 2rz-fe
