So does this mean that all the people who have been told that they cant legally fit a 1UZ to an RA23/28 (ie: NSW and QLD i think) now can?

Orignal weight (kgs) * 4.0 = max. capacity (cc's)

At an original 1010kgs, that gives a legal 4040cc capacity (albeit with engeering approval of course).

you could before, and probably still can now, write to... someone... and get special approval for certain reasons.... has been supposedly done before

Yeah, my maths of 4000/2.75 came up with something a lot lardier that 1300kgs! That's not too bad I guess.

What do I need to do when Converting to Unleaded Petrol?

With this, is it still required now that Australia only sells Unleaded fuel? To mee it seems like a modification that is completely unecessary becasue there is only 1 type of fuel nozzle now.

Completely pointless/useless/unnecessary yes.

But the NCOP's were written in the last 6 months.

LP went a lot longer ago than that, so I have no idea why its still there.

There is a servo at Goulburn that still sells LRP. I think they mixed up premium UL and the valve lube on site.
