what has everybody else done with old motors?

Well here I am wondering.. "what has everyone else done with motors that have been removed from cars for their engine conversion"?
I'ts no news that no one wants a 4ac, and I'm stuck with one, obviously anybody would want it gone.....considering digging a hole in the back yard and giving it a funeral so to speak...

i cant sell it
it would make a crap coffee table,

i took my 4AC apart and put the little bits in my mates bin over a few weeks, then left the block behind his garage, i think the next tenant got rid of it.

you could probably drop it off at a scrap metal dealer, or just break it down with a sledge hammer to make it easier to move. pulling engines apart is fun!

Half bury it and use the bores to grow herbs?

run it on a stand/crate with no water or oil till it seizes/run it WOT till something blows/Run it WOT and somehow dump a large amount of water in the intake. Then take to scrap place or driveway of person or business you don't like.

I thought that driveway thing only worked with gearboxes? If the people at my work saw it there i sure they'd know where it came from! gotta get some residential addresses....

I would do the best to find someone who takes it as a gift and tows it away. I think it's even possible to swap your zombie engine into some car with 100% dead one.
You can also make funky backup power source out of it.

I ran an old 3tc with bad rod bearings at WOT until it blew. Threw a rod right through the block and into the brand new starter I installed a month earlier. Put a huge crack into the starter case, destroying it. PISSED me off.

scrap metal recycler was where mine ended up.. and two weeks later i needed a couple of bits off it lol

Yeah I took my old 3T block & head the scrap metal recyclers, got about $70 from memory Should've kept the block & pistons though, as I could've done with them later

You can see the bigger blocks (B24s?) have small terracotta pots inside the bores but the smaller lighter block on the top step (B16?) has succulents growing out of everywhere, I think it'd be easy to make it into a pot, bolt some galvanised plate on the bottom of the block with some drain holes drilled through it, fill the block with soil, plant plants, profit from ingenuity?
