Very similar to VF Valiant Pacer (though they had a slightly different face). I think they are a Smiths brand.

never seen a valiant valiant tacho like that

hi cam
how would you get shit in the tacho
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
never seen one before in relation to KE1X rolla.
SL had tacho in the dash (3 gauge setup) compared to normal which had no tacho (2 gauge setup, larger dials)
this one is also named as VF pacer tacho

don't think vf's had a tacho, VGs had a round tacho next to the speedo.
unless they were mounted somewhere else
1983 Toyota Celica Supra
they were "mounted" on top of the dash pad on VF Pacers, this was the first Pacer model with the 225 Slant 6, the VG Pacer .. with 245 Hemi had a proper Tacho dash VH Pacers had the same dash as R/T Chargers..
I think that the VF pacer was the only car to come from the factory with this Tacho, it was offered as an accessory (IE dealer fitment) on other cars.

Ke20 SL 1973 had a Stewart Warner tach mounted in a black pod on the dash.I think from memory they were around 2" or slightly bigger. One of the cars I wish I had never sold. It also had a blacked out panel on the boot.

VF Pacer and they were an option on the 72 or 73 KE 20 SL.A guy I went to school with in the 70's his mum had one from new and it had that particular tacho.
Cheers Brett.
