A the title says I'm thinking about turboing a 1zz or a 1nz for a club racing application. Who here has played with these engines in turbo form, reliability, performance, upgrades extra. Well be in a rwd corolla.

Hi,
I've heard that the standard 1zz lubricating pump is not so reliable. As it is reported to disintegrate if over revved and can cause a massive engine failure. But Tomei(if not mistaken) sells an upgraded spec. Maybe you might look into that.
