yes they are.
only difference being late model wagons had the mirror in the corner of the glass not screwed to the door.
Since we were deprived of ever getting these cool 2dr wagons in North America, can someone verify if the doors are interchangeable? I'm getting an 83 wagon and an 82 2dr sedan parts car soon and really want to make my own 2dr wagon!
It makes no sense that Toyota would make different doors for these models so hopefully my dream build isn't a wash.
Much thanks!

Excellent! I talked to a few friends who have had various ideas of doing this but their consensus was, nothing fits. I see you imported a 2dr sedan from the US to lessen your headaches of fitting the rear quarter. Hopefully I don't run into the same issue with the wagon. Did you drill out the spot welds on that quarter panel?
BTW, both cars I'm getting have side mirrors fitted to the corner glass.
Are the windows on the 2 & 4dr wagons (between the C & D pillars) the same? And are the windows on the panelvan and 2dr sedan (between B & C pillars) the same? Both seem to match up but pics on-line are misleading.
Yes, the last side window (fixed) is the same between the 2 door wagons & 4 door wagons. And the 2nd window is also the same between the 2 door sedan and 2 door wagon, and hinges outwards.
thanks also, you just reminded me that I still have a set of brand new 2dr seals sitting in a box from my old car that I should advertiseCheers

ill take them.
also, would depend which variant of panno you had, mine was nothing like the 2 door sedan glass.

whoops sorry, typo on my behalf, referred to panno in place of wagon, i'll edit my postCheers
What I ended up with eventually was a 2 door window van, after swapping over 2 door wagon parts onto my panelvan.

1JZ - Do you have pics of your 2dr window van?
So this is my inspiration including the BBS RS!
Obviously the panelvan side windows are different (smaller window, larger frame) which are quite a bit different than the 2dr sedan so I should hopefully be okay.
BTW, I found someone who is willing to take on this project so things are looking good!
Thanks for the input fellas!![]()

hmm...the more I look at it, the 2dr sedan's quarter window has a sharper rake than the 2dr wagon's quarter window and 2 / 4dr sedans share the same c pillar. So it looks like I'll have to cut a custom piece of glass or if I wanted to do it properply, source a quarter panel (with window & frame intact) from a 2dr wagon/panelvan from your neck of the woods!
Either way, it's going to cost to me LOL!
From love ke70's build thread you can see what I mean.

2 door and four door sedans do not share a C pillar.
the bottom corner where the vent is varies, the 2 door glass runs through long, the upright in the glass is shorter.
take it from the experienced.
use the whole car, dont try and graft it, my experience was people are just shit to deal with when it comes to things like this.
