Default Upgrade on Current Model Hilux Radiator 2.7 Petrol

I currently am upgrading my cooling system on my 2008 Toyota Hilux Workmate 2.7 vvti petrol motor. I am installing a 16 inch thermo and davies craig temp sender and tridon 30 percent fast flowing thermostat. I was wondering do any aftermarket alloy radiators from previous generation hiluxes bolt in. I have extractors and full exhaust and tow alot and want alittle more power and cooling. Cooling system has fresh coolant and twice in its life but really I want a upgrade radiator as I plan to keep the ute for a long time as I am engaged. Any help would be greatly apppreciated.

maybe see if you can find some measurements on the 2 and see if they are the same, some ebay ones have diagrams with measurements and stuff.
what fans are on them standard? viscus hub style? most thermo fans that i have seen are no match for a good viscus, but being a big 16 might be ok, might be worth sussing out first but.

Problem solved rock went through core. I have order a new radiator on ebay. I bought a new cap. I will post pics when done. Radiator is plastic cored and I have the thicker 28 mm one order. I am still going 16 thermo as I tow and will make a huge improvement and triton thermostat high flow and temp prob that is adjustable. Standard clutch fan struggles when towing up hill with tools in back and trailer.

As has been said the Viscous fan will work the best by far, maybe its worn out ?? does it free spin easily because if they are still working well it should have some drag & especially when hot, it should be noticeably firmer to spin, does it still have the radiator shroud on the radiator as that has to be there as it works in conjunction with the viscous fan ..

If you go the electric fan you will be disappointed unless you have a really good shroud that covers the whole radiator & directs all the air to the electric fan & what fan are you running as the Spal fans are about the only one worth getting out there ..

Yes. Shroud is still in place. Vicous fan tight. Radiator has hole in it. 16 thermo I have will be mounted to existing shroud with custom brackets. Shroud still in place as it holds radiator overflow and radiator lower house. 2750 cfm thermo. Will posts pics as installing. I used dyna bolt nuts on old fan pulley due to their galvanising and cuts to grab pulley. Will work much better than stock. I have a 30 percent triton upgraded thermostat and Davies Craig thermo switch and probe and nylon fitting already mounted in top hose. Can adjust temp from 49-99 degrees. Also have relay and fuse. Will work wired directly to battery. Even radiator has nuts to mount thermo switch to top of radiator. You will see as pics are uploaded.
