Its usually after a track day I'll check them, since I'll find the brakes will loose a lot of bite.
Is this just a symptom of old brake calipers? as they have 330000 ks on them, can't actually get brand new calipers anymore, and secondhand replacements might have the same problem.
I was quoted $600 to recondition the calipers.
I'm using high temperature bearing grease (Castrol HTB 2) on the pins. Is there a better option that won't seize up so quickly?
Or do I just need to clean the bore out more thoroughly?
Adam.
